Carles Marquès, nearby architecture
Carles Marquès Barceló, collegiate architect 758183 in the Official College of Architects of the Balearic Islands, and collegiate technical architect 1314 in the Official College of Technical Architects and Surveyors of Majorca.
I graduated as an architect at the Barcelona School of Architecture, with a 10-Honors qualification in the Final Degree Project.
Since 2001 I have worked first as a technical architect, and then also as an architect, collaborating in different architectural and urban studies in Barcelona, the Canary Islands and Mallorca, as well as other institutions in the development of public and private works that include housing, hospitals, libraries, cultural centers, summer camps, parks and urban planning. Nowadays I’m also Associated Teacher at the Building Degree of the University of the Balearic Islands (Universitat de les Illes Balears).
At Microestudi we create an architecture of proximity, of all scales, based on network collaboration, promoting synergies, exchanges and experiences between friends and professionals who come together for each project.
